It was my pleasure to have Ms. Elizabeth Lechner as my wedding coordinator. My wedding was in August of 2014 at Sycuan Golf Resort in El Cajon California. I have known Ms. Lechner for eight years and she came highly recommended to me for her wedding coordinator experience and education at Cal Poly Pomona. At my wedding, there were approximately 75 guests in attendance. Sycuan Golf Resort only provided the venue and coordination for food-related items and did not provide any wedding coordination support, which was provided solely by Ms. Lechner. At the wedding, the vendors included a Harpist, a Priest, a DJ, a photo booth, a wedding cake delivery, flower set up and delivery, and a photographer. Ms. Lechner conducted a planning meeting, ran the wedding rehearsal, and conducted all coordination throughout the event.
I was first impressed with her motivation and organizational skills. Throughout the entire planning process Ms. Lechner was responsive to email and attentive to detail. In our first planning meeting, she was professional and asked about every detail, some of which I had not considered.
Ms. Lechner took control of the wedding rehearsal and managed the given timeframe appropriately. She is friendly and outgoing, which kept the atmosphere of the rehearsal calm and fun, yet productive. Ms. Lechner also created a schedule of events for the day of the event, with approximate times and locations to ensure everything stayed on track.
On the day of the wedding, Ms. Lechner ensured all vendors were met, directed to the appropriate location, and provided payment. While directing vendors she also ensured that all needs of the bridal party were met, necessary people were present at the appropriate time for pictures, and that the wedding began on time. Her ability to coordinate many tasks at once was impressive. During the reception of the wedding, she went above and beyond. Ms. Lechner continued to coordinate all stages of the reception while keeping everything on time and according to schedule. She worked well with all of the vendors enabling all major tasks to occur seamlessly.
Ms. Lechner is very knowledgeable about the hospitality industry and her interest in the industry makes her a pleasure to work with. It would be a great pleasure to work with her again for future entertainment opportunities. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need additional information.
